hurray for fun

as you certainoly know, today is international talk like a pirate day...so naturally my third graders and i decided to celebrate. we certainly had a swashbuckling time talking like pirates all day...here we are with our eye patches, hooks, swords, and parrots.
the best part of the day was when another one of the third grade teachers scared all of my kids out of their seats when she popped her head and yelled, "ARRRRGHHH!" oh how i laughed at them! :)
