going through old files on my computer and found some gems...
backwoodsmen of virginia often spent their free time fighting with one another, and one of their methods of choice was "eyegouging"--this is a diagram of a champion eyegouger hands :)

Those are the funniest pictures ever! I was just thinking about the eyegouging hands picture earlier this week as I was telling my class about dueling! Now I can actually show the students what it was like to duel in the backwoods of the south! LOL!!!
