a word to the wise

be careful when you get home from a long trip; everyone will remember all the activities you were involved in before, and ask you to do them again. as of church this morning i've been asked to play/sing in the worship band (at two different churches), ring handbells, and help out with the youth group. it's nice that people are happy to see me, but maybe i should wearing a sign that says i'm all volunteered out :)
